Finally I've been able to upload the pictures that 1st ESO students took to creat optical illusions. Here they are:

We have been talking about Visual Perception.
Now, it's time to start creating Optical Illusions using your camera.

I suggest you to shoot 1 or 2 pictures playing with your perception.  The aim is getting real images with an unreal appearance.  Something like this:

RECYCLED PORTRAITS BY HANOCH PIVEN. 1st ESO

Hanoch Piven is an Israeli artist who was born in Uruguay in 1963.   He has been living in Barcelona for some years, but at this moment he's living in Israel.

He is famous for his celibrity caricatures, created as collages using common objects and materials, including stuff that might be associated with the subject (for example, tiny brains for a Stephen Hawking's portrait)

His caricatures appear in important newspapers and magazines all around the world: Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, The Times, ...

Hello everybody!

Holidays ended up and lessons begin again...  This will be your first year in ESO, and I wish success for you.

But You know you're going to work hard!

You were practising Arts in English since 3rd, so I hope you won't have any problem with this subject...  And, of course, I'm here to help you in anything you need!

Aquí podeu veure una mostra dels retrats reciclats realitzats pels alumnes de 1r d'ESO.  Hem treballat a la manera de Hanoch Piven, utilitzant com a models les següents obres d'art: La "Venus" de Botticelli, "La noia de la perla" de Vermeer, "Retrat de Dora Maar" de Picasso, "Autorretrat amb barret" de Van Gogh, "La dona de la franja verda" de Matisse i "Marilyn Monroe" d'Andy Warhol.
