The students of 4t of primària painted a composition of Paul Klee: Clown.
They chose different wax crayons colors depending on the feeling they wanted to express: happiness, sadness, fear, surprise, coldness, etc.
For example, if they wanted to express happiness, they chose colors as red, yellow, green, purple…. In case they preferred a scared clown they chose red, black and white wax crayons among others.
The final compositions are very colorful because it’s a mixture of many colors. Do you like them?
The students of 4t of primària made some
landscape murals using a very original technique. Firstly, they cut down some
pieces of cardboard of different sizes. Then, they used the edges of them to
deep into the paint and draw the pictures. By moving the cardboard upwards,
downwards or diagonally, the made very concrete objects: roofs, walls, windows,
trees, clouds, ducks, parrots….Every group of 3 or 4 students chose a different
landscape: tropical forest, sunrise, jungle, winter forest, cloudy day…
After two weeks of hard work, they got some
original landscapes. Do you like them?
The
students in 5è made a haunted castle watercolor
painting. Firstly, they drew a dark castle in the middle of
the cardboard surrounded by dark trees, bats and clouds. Secondly, to paint the
compositions, they used quite a lot of water so that the ink from the felt-tip
pens could spread a bit. Doing this they created a haunted atmosphere.
After some weeks working in calendars, we're going to finish the term making a pop-up Christmas card. I took it from Robert Sabuda's webpage and made some changes, mainly cutting some stars and using coloured cardboard.
HOW TO DO IT
1. Download the templates and print them onto heavy paper or cardboard.
Us faig cinc cèntims del procés.
A continuació calia començar a recollir material.
The students of 5è drew a portrait of one of
their classmates using only a pencil.
It was not an easy task because they had to be
very concentrate to make the portrait as close as possible to reality. The
model had to be calm and relaxed because the partner had to observe very
carefully every detail of the face. When the first portrait was finished, the
model turned into a painter and vice versa.
After working on this task for several weeks,
the results were quite satisfactory.
These are the artworks resulting from the activity "Recycled Portraits".
The pupils had to choose a celebrity and paint it in Hanoch Piven's style.
I was really surprised about them. They are very good!
The labels show the name of the artist and his or her subject.
Enjoy them!
All the images around us (drawings, pictures, paintings, publicity images...) are formed by the basic elements of visual language: dots, lines, shapes, texture and colour.
We start talking about dots, and we are going to practise using an awesome technique: Pointillism.
The students of 3r made a composition consisting of drawing a landscape using only the primary colors. They chose a card at random and they read the instructions given for drawing: a red ball into the sea, a sunflower with some butterflies, a fish into a fishbowl… If necessary, they were able to make dark or light primary colors by mixing them with black or white.
Finally, they got very elaborate compositions. Do you like it?
Us deixo els apunts que us he passat i uns enllaços que ens ajudaran a comprendre millor aquest Sistema de Representació.

For example, we can apply "old photo" in "effects":
The result could be such as this:
Or if we apply "charcoal":
You can also try to transform a selfportrait and you're going to get something like that:
The students of 6è made graffiti on an imaginary wall previously drawn on a white card.
The first step was to familiarize with different styles of graffiti. We went outside the school (C/Estudis) and had a look to the different pieces we can see on the front wall.
Then, we moved to the class and started to make a composition on a sheet of paper. As a beginner, most of the pupils decided to wrote down their name in capital letters using different styles: bubble letters, rounded edges or sharp, equally sized letters, some big letters or some small, etc. In addition, they added the objects they like: animals, fruits, people, logos, etc.
Once they finished, they made the real composition in an A3 white card. Afterwards, they used a felt tip pen to darken the lines they drew with their pencil and added some last details. Finally, they added some color to fill in their drawing. They used colored pencils or wax crayons.
