The students in 3r have studied Paul Klee, a Swiss born painter who was a deep thinker and a sensitive observer. Color and primitive symbols became a major part in his paintings, especially after a trip to Egypt, where he encountered deeper impressions of the landscapes.
Students used warm colours (yellow, orange, brown, pink....) and squared sponges to create a Paul Klee African atmosphere. The colours had to be different in each square. Then, they draw some African symbols using a felt-tip pen or black paint.
